Is there a contract or a setup fee?

No contract and no setup fee. Plans roll month to month and you can move up, down or stop at the end of any month. Because the build is not charged up front, the website is on a Managed Studio Lease: its code becomes yours automatically after 6 paid months, or at any time by paying the rest of those 6 months.

How much does a small business website cost in the UK?

Most UK businesses pay £3,000–£6,000 for a professionally built website, according to Whito's 2026 UK pricing research; a freelancer brochure site is £1,500–£3,000, and hosting and maintenance add £500–£2,000 a year. Solquara's alternative is monthly: Launch is $299 a month with the build, hosting and unlimited edits included, and no setup fee.

How much does a video ad cost?

A traditionally shot 30-second commercial is usually quoted at $2,000–$8,000 once crew, kit, talent and post-production are added up. Solquara's AI-first pipeline removes the shoot day: a single cinematic ad is $199, a 3-ad pack is $499, and Growth includes three ads a month with the website for $799.

Video ads

What kind of video ads does Solquara make?

Cinematic 10–30 second ads made for the feed: scripted, storyboarded, directed and graded by the studio, then cut for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Meta in 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9. Each one has one idea, one offer and one call to action, because a second call to action halves the first.

How long does a video ad take?

One-off ads and the Proof Sprint are delivered within 72 hours of a confirmed brief. The free sample lands within 48 hours. On the Scale plan, requests get 24-hour priority turnaround.

Are the ads made with AI?

Partly, and openly. Solquara uses an AI-first production pipeline instead of a film crew, so there is no shoot day, kit hire or location fee. The concept, script, storyboard, direction, edit and sound design are the studio's work. That is why the price is a fraction of a traditional shoot without looking like a template.

Websites

How quickly can Solquara build a website?

Within five days of the brief: designed, written and live, with hosting, SSL, backups and monitoring handled. Every site has one-tap call, booking and WhatsApp buttons, Google Business Profile setup and local SEO, and edits are unlimited for as long as you are on a plan.

Do I own my website?

Yes, after 6 paid months the website's code transfers to you automatically, or sooner by paying the remaining months. Your domain, content, and every ad, script and piece of copy are yours from the moment they are paid for; none of that is ever leased. A one-off website build is yours outright on payment.

What makes a website good at getting bookings?

Five things: it loads quickly on a phone (aim for under 1.5 seconds), the first screen says what you do and where, calling or messaging takes one tap, booking works online without a phone call, and LocalBusiness structured data tells Google your name, address, phone and hours. The free leak auditor checks any site for all of these.

The Sol 24/7 AI Receptionist

What is the Sol 24/7 AI Receptionist?

The Sol 24/7 AI Receptionist is Solquara's done-for-you booking automation for small businesses: a 24/7 assistant on your website and WhatsApp that answers questions and books slots, missed-call text-back, and an automatic Google review request after each visit. The studio installs, connects and monitors it within 7 working days. It is $99 a month, or included in Scale.

Is Sol an AI receptionist?

For text, yes. Sol handles the receptionist work that happens in writing: answering questions on your website and WhatsApp, booking appointments and following up. It does not answer phone calls by voice. When you miss a call, it sends the caller a text straight away so the conversation carries on by message instead of going to voicemail.

How much does an AI receptionist cost?

The Sol 24/7 AI Receptionist is $99 a month on its own, set up and monitored by the studio; on Launch it is a $69-a-month add-on, and it is included in Growth and Scale. AI receptionist products are priced in very different ways (per call, per minute or per booking), so compare the total monthly cost at your real enquiry volume, plus any setup fee, rather than the headline price.

What is missed-call text-back?

Missed-call text-back sends an automatic text message to anyone whose call you could not answer, saying sorry you missed them and offering to help or book by message. The caller gets a reply instead of a voicemail beep, and the enquiry stays with you instead of going to the next business on the search page.

Google reviews and local search

How do I get a QR code for Google reviews?

Copy your review link from Google Business Profile (the "Ask for reviews" button) or find your Place ID with Google's Place ID finder, paste it into the free Review QR studio, and download a printable A6 counter card or A5 poster with the QR code. Scanning it opens your Google review box directly.

Why do Google reviews matter for a small business?

Because nearly everyone checks them. BrightLocal's 2026 survey found 97% of consumers read online reviews, 74% look for reviews written in the last three months, and 31% will only use a business rated 4.5 stars or more. A steady flow of recent reviews matters as much as the average.

Can I offer a discount for a Google review?

No. Google's policy forbids offering incentives such as payments, discounts or free services for reviews, and forbids selectively asking only happy customers. Ask every customer the same way, make it easy with a direct link or QR code, and reply to every review, good or bad.
